To Mother, Sweet Mother

Sweet mother,
We remember
Our stay together,
With dear father!

Can we ever
Forget your love and care?
We can never
Return your gifts, precious and rare!

Mother, you were a lady great;
Someone, no one on earth could hate;
A teacher, home-maker, top-rate;
You changed for better, our fate!

Your good nature, we can’t equate;
Your roles in life, we can’t under-state;
Your sacrifices, we can’t enumerate;
Your example, we want to emulate.

We cannot thank you mother dear,
With words, gifts, savories, flower!
You put us on the road to God;
We pray you get the Lord’s reward!
Today, you aren’t alive
But, you were the queen-bee
Of our pleasant hive!

“Happy Mother’s Day,2012! ” dear mom,
(Late) Mrs. Stella Antoniswami, Old Chungam, Coimbatore
By loving dad (Late) and all children

Miscarriage – you came too soon

Miscarriage – You came too soon:

With so much love we you did form
Our passion stronger than a summer storm
You were made by us with so much love
We ordered you from heaven above
Deep inside her you start to form
I feel I know you before you are born
Only A few months and then we`ll meet
We`ll hold you close and kiss your feet
We will help you and teach you all we know
We will run and Laugh as we watch you grow
But now it seems you will not stay
You`ve come too soon this tragic way
The tears she cries flow like rain
Nothing I can say will ease her pain
Our child we lost gone before the start
You`ve left us both with a broken heart
It just seems to be a crying shame
You will never even have a name
So many years have now gone by
But still in our hearts for you we cry
We will miss you forever my beautiful soul
Even though you were never made whole

Memory’s Mansion

In Memory’s Mansion are wonderful rooms,
And I wander about them at will;
And I pause at the casements, where boxes of blooms
Are sending sweet scents o’er the sill.
I lean from a window that looks on a lawn;
From a turret that looks on the wave.
But I draw down the shade when I see on some glade
A stone standing guard by a grave.

To Memory’s attic I clambered one day
When the roof was resounding with rain,
And there, among relics long hidden away,
I rummaged with heart ache and pain.
A hope long surrendered and covered with dust,
A pastime, out-grown and forgot,
And a fragment of love all corroded with rust,
Were lying heaped up in one spot.

And there on the floor of that garret was tossed
A friendship too fragile to last,
With pieces of dearly bought pleasures that cost
Vast fortunes of pain in the past,
A fabric of passion, once vivid and bright,
As the breast of a robin in Spring,
Was spread out before me-a terrible sight-
A moth-eaten rag of a thing.

Then down the deep stairway I hurriedly went,
And into fair chambers below;
But the mansion seemed filled with the old attic scent
Wherever my footsteps would go.
Though in Memory’s House I still wander full oft,
No more to the garret I climb;
And I leave all the rubbish heaped there in the loft
To the hands of the Housekeeper, Time.

Death and I

When death comes
I’ll need not love –
Consumed,
No wreath or dove
Could offer me salvation,
Not when I’m no more.

A weathered stone will bear my name –
Identity of once a being
Living out existence in
A world of risk, and never seeing
Sense of why we’re here.

My genes will die away thro’ child –
Hue of eyes and hair, the way of thought,
Will quickly dim with generation –
Bow to future dominance –
Memories of provenance
Resigned to curious few.

When death comes
I’ll need not grace
Below; no grieving face
Will call my resurrection,
Not when I’m at ground –

Death and I so bound.

Miscarriage

My love that goes right through you
I hope it does’t grow to kill you
‘Cause I can’t handle you miscarriage
Your hidden miscarriage
I loved you hard with on thud
And the base board of the bed keeps beating these walls
While sliding love into you
The deeper you scream I spew
With the love that spawned our beloved child
We make love you always bleed
With the lies that you conceive
Every time I heave
My love that goes right through you
I hope it does’t grow to kill you
‘Cause I can’t handle you miscarriage
Your hidden miscarriage
Thinking about my child born dead
When it runs though my mind I see red
And the diseased blood that stained my clean white sheets
It still dream of the love of my own child
But I just can’t seem to get it through you
‘Cause every time I light the flame it dies
But my heart still lies with you
My love that goes right through you
I hope it does’t grow to kill you
‘Cause I can’t handle you miscarriage
Your hidden miscarriage
My love that goes right through you
I hope it does’t grow to kill you
‘Cause I can’t handle you miscarriage
Your hidden miscarriage
I can’t set up myself for this
Lets seal it off with a final kiss
‘Cause with you their is no chance of a future
But my heart begs to differ
I can’t handle this miscarriage
But this is what it has to be
This is the end of you and me

Memories

Memories of good times
Memories of bad times
Memories of our love
So many memories

Memories of us crying
Memories of us laughing
Memories of our commitment
So many memories

Memories of us hugging
Memories of us kissing
Memories of those late nights
So many memories

Memories of how we met
Memories of how you left
Memories of what you said
So many memories

Why did you leave me
with so many memories
Did you ever realize
that my memories are yours

Everything we did together
stays within our memories
I remember getting hurt
Do you hurt too

Let’s make a new memory
that we can both share
Let’s love again
in our memories
